Accountant and Administration Officer

<p><strong>Company Description</strong> Esquared Ltd. dba Hendo's Hideout is seeking an experienced Accounting & Administration Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will have strong accounting experience and will support the Company’s finance, restaurant operations, procurement, inventory, and HR administration functions. <span>Joining Hendo's Hideout means contributing to a growing business that values reliability, collaboration, and a strong sense of community. Must be willing to relocate to the British Virgin Islands. Must be able to live and thrive in our somewhat remote small island community</span></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Manage <strong>Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)</strong>.</li><li>Assist with <strong>monthly management accounts, reconciliations, reporting, and financial analysis</strong>.</li><li>Manage procurement administration, supplier invoices, purchase orders, and supplier relationships.</li><li>Maintain accurate <strong>inventory records, stock controls, and food & beverage costing</strong>.</li><li>Monitor costs, wastage, stock variances, and support restaurant profitability.</li><li>Reconcile restaurant sales, POS reports, cash, credit cards, and other revenue.</li><li>Provide accounting and administrative support to <strong>restaurant operations</strong>.</li><li>Maintain employee records and provide general <strong>HR administration and payroll support</strong>.</li><li>Coordinate and monitor <strong>BVI work permit applications and renewals</strong>, ensuring all documentation and expiry dates are properly maintained.</li><li>Maintain organized, confidential financial, employee, and administrative records.</li><li>Support management with general office administration and operational reporting.</li></ul><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Degree/Diploma in <strong>Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field</strong>.</li><li>Minimum <strong>3–5 years’ relevant accounting experience</strong>.</li><li>Strong knowledge of <strong>AP, AR, reconciliations, management accounts, costing, procurement, inventory control</strong> <strong>and payroll processing</strong></li><li>Restaurant, hotel, hospitality, or high-volume operational accounting experience is strongly preferred.</li><li>Strong <strong>Microsoft Excel</strong> and accounting/POS system skills.</li><li>Excellent organizational and analytical skills.</li><li>High level of accuracy, integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to work independently and effectively with restaurant and management teams.</li><li>Previous experience with <strong>HR administration and BVI work permit management</strong> will be an advantage.</li><li>Prior experience in hospitality, tourism, or small business accounting is preferred.</li></ul>
