The Role

As an Accounting Manager / Financial Accountant, you will oversee key accounting functions, maintain accurate financial records, and support strategic financial reporting and compliance. Working closely with finance leadership, operations, and cross-functional stakeholders, you will ensure the integrity of financial data, strengthen internal controls, and contribute to continuous process improvement. This part-time, fully remote opportunity offers flexible working hours and the opportunity to collaborate with international teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger management and financial reporting.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing activities while ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Perform account reconciliations, financial analysis, and balance sheet reviews.
  • Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow, and financial transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities in collaboration with business stakeholders.
  • Coordinate internal and external audit processes and prepare supporting financial documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting efficiency, and financial controls.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and organizational performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of professional work experience is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting, accounting management, and financial reporting principles.
  • Knowledge of general ledger management, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and financial reporting tools.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, management reporting, and maintaining accurate accounting records.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fully remote working environment.
