The Role

We are seeking an experienced Admissions Manager / Student Recruitment Lead to oversee admissions activities, develop student recruitment strategies, manage prospective-student relationships, and support enrollment growth.

The ideal candidate is an effective communicator and relationship builder with strong admissions, sales, education consulting, and team-leadership experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate day-to-day admissions and student recruitment activities.
  • Develop and implement student recruitment strategies aligned with enrollment and institutional objectives.
  • Manage the prospective-student journey from initial inquiry, consultation, application, assessment, and follow-up through enrollment.
  • Supervise admissions counselors, recruitment staff, coordinators, and assigned support teams.
  • Set recruitment targets, monitor team performance, and provide coaching and guidance.
  • Respond to inquiries from prospective students, parents, guardians, agents, and education partners.
  • Provide accurate information regarding programs, admission requirements, fees, schedules, learning options, and application procedures.
  • Conduct consultations to understand student goals and recommend appropriate programs or pathways.
  • Review application documents and coordinate with academic teams regarding eligibility, assessments, and admission decisions.
  • Maintain accurate prospective-student and applicant records in CRM or student-management systems.
  • Develop and manage follow-up strategies to improve application completion and enrollment conversion.
  • Coordinate open days, webinars, school visits, education fairs, information sessions, and recruitment events.
  • Build relationships with schools, education consultants, community organizations, corporate partners, and other recruitment channels.
  • Monitor enrollment pipelines, conversion rates, recruitment sources, and other key performance indicators.
  • Prepare admissions forecasts, recruitment reports, pipeline updates, and management presentations.
  • Collaborate with marketing, academic, finance, student services, and administration teams to improve the enrollment experience.
  • Ensure recruitment and admissions activities follow institutional policies, ethical standards, privacy requirements, and applicable education regulations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes, student engagement, conversion rates, and overall applicant experience.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Education, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in admissions, student recruitment, education consulting, enrollment management, or a similar role is preferred.
  • Proven experience managing admissions or recruitment teams and achieving enrollment targets.
  • Strong understanding of the student recruitment and admissions lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
  • Strong customer-service mindset with the ability to communicate effectively with students and parents.
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of recruitment funnels, lead conversion, and enrollment KPIs.
  • Experience with CRM, student information systems, admissions platforms, or education-management software.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple applicants, deadlines, campaigns, and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of UAE education markets and international student recruitment is advantageous.
  • Admissions, education counseling, recruitment, or management certifications are advantageous but not required.
