Whom we are looking for: Think Academy U.S. is looking for a Remote Math Competition Coach to teach AIME & JMO level math content. Teachers are expected to understand math concepts, prepare classes based on Think Academy's curriculum, deliver engaging and age-appropriate math lessons, explain concepts, demonstrate problem-solving techniques, and use various teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students. What You Will Do: <ul> <li class="">Teach AMC10 / AIME / JMO competition problems virtually through the Think Academy Teaching Platform.</li> <li class="">Develop personalized training plans tailored to students’ levels and goals</li> <li class="">Create high-quality problem sets, handouts, and learning materials aligned with various competition systems</li> <li class="">Stay up to date with the latest trends, formats, and problem styles of annual math contests</li> <li class="">Guide and mentor students in preparing for local and international math competitions, including BMT, HMMT, etc</li> </ul> How You Can Be Qualified: <ul> <li class="">Academic background in Mathematics, or a related STEM field (Master’s degree or higher)</li> <li class="">Personal experience in math competitions, with at least qualification to USA Junior Mathematical Olympiad or equivalent level</li> <li class="">Strong mathematical foundation and deep understanding of competition-style problem solving</li> <li class="">Ability to explain advanced concepts clearly and inspire students at different levels</li> <li class="">Passionate about competitive mathematics and committed to helping students excel</li> <li class="">Prior teaching or coaching experience is a plus</li> <li class="">Participation in team-based math competitions is a strong plus</li> </ul> Pay Structure & Benefits: <ul> <li class="">Teaching Fee: $55-$75hour; Teachers will be assigned 3-7 classes per week</li> <li class="">Non-Teaching Fee: $25-$35/hour; Includes class preparation and after-class services such as grading homework, replying to parent messages, periodically giving feedback, curriculum development etc.</li> <li class="">Flexible Remote Work: Work from anywhere that suits you best!</li> <li class="">Performance-Based Pay Increase: <ul> <li class="">Opportunity for a 15% bonus per semester</li> <li class="">Potential for a $0-$5 Teaching Hour increase per semester based on performance</li> </ul> </li> <li class="">Professional Growth: <ul> <li class="">Teachers who consistently deliver high-quality classes may be promoted to management roles, which come with increased responsibilities, additional performance bonuses, and enhanced benefits</li> </ul> </li> <li class="">Paid Training Program: <ul> <li class="">Leverage Think Academy's paid, 4-week Teacher Training Program to develop your career in education!</li> </ul> </li> <li>401k and Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance (depending on eligibility)</li> </ul> <hr> Think Academy is an equal opportunity employer.
