Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Air Traffic Controller role based in Doha, Qatar.

The Air Traffic

Controller will manage and coordinate the safe, orderly, and efficient movement of aircraft within assigned airspace and at designated airports, using radar, radio, and other surveillance and communication systems.

Responsibilities include issuing clearances and instructions to pilots, monitoring aircraft positions, sequencing arrivals and departures, and managing en-route traffic to prevent collisions and minimize delays. The role involves continuously assessing traffic conditions, responding to changing weather or operational scenarios, and applying QCAA and international regulations and procedures.

The Air Traffic

Controller will work as part of a team in a 24/7 operational environment, maintaining accurate records, participating in briefings and debriefings, and supporting continuous safety and performance improvements.

Qualifications

  • Strong operational expertise in Traffic Control and Air Traffic Control, with the ability to manage high-density airspace safely and efficiently.
  • Proficiency in managing Airspace and using Radar systems for surveillance, separation, and navigation support.
  • Demonstrated Supervisory Skills, including the ability to coordinate with colleagues and support safe, standardized team operations.
  • Relevant air traffic control training from a recognized institution and possession of, or eligibility for, an appropriate ATC license in line with ICAO standards.
  • Excellent spoken and written English; additional language skills are an advantage.
  • Strong situational awareness, decision-making, and problem-solving skills under time pressure.
  • Willingness and ability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, in a 24/7 operations center.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to aviation safety and regulatory compliance.
