McKesson Canada est à la recherche d’un(e) Analyste principal(e), Comptabilité pour se joindre à son équipe des Finances soutenant les activités de distribution pharmaceutique. Dans ce rôle, vous serez responsable de la production de l’information financière, des activités de clôture financière, des conciliations de comptes, de l’analyse des résultats financiers ainsi que du maintien de l’intégrité des systèmes et contrôles financiers.

La personne retenue agira comme partenaire d’affaires auprès de divers intervenants de l’organisation afin de fournir des analyses financières, soutenir la prise de décision, identifier les risques et les opportunités et assurer l’exactitude ainsi que la fiabilité de l’information financière dans un environnement dynamique.

Ce que vous ferez

  • Préparer et réviser les états financiers mensuels, trimestriels et annuels.
  • Effectuer des analyses financières et expliquer les écarts entre les résultats réels et les prévisions.
  • Réaliser et réviser les conciliations de comptes du bilan et assurer le suivi des éléments en suspens.
  • Assurer l’exactitude, l’intégrité et l’exhaustivité des données et rapports financiers.
  • Participer aux activités de clôture financière mensuelle et annuelle.
  • Préparer les rapports financiers destinés aux équipes d’affaires et aux équipes financières corporatives.
  • Collaborer avec les équipes opérationnelles et les partenaires interfonctionnels afin de fournir des recommandations et des conseils financiers.
  • Veiller au respect des politiques comptables, des contrôles internes et des procédures de l’entreprise.
  • Identifier les risques et les opportunités financières et recommander des mesures proactives.
  • Soutenir les processus de prévisions financières continues et de budgétisation annuelle.
  • Participer aux initiatives d’amélioration des processus, de transformation financière et aux projets spéciaux.
  • Assurer des communications régulières avec les parties prenantes concernant les résultats financiers et les enjeux comptables.

Exigences de base

  • Baccalauréat en comptabilité, en finance ou dans un domaine connexe.
  • De 3 à 5 ans d’expérience en comptabilité, en information financière, en analyse financière ou dans un rôle similaire en finance.
  • Expérience dans la préparation d’états financiers et les conciliations de comptes.
  • Expérience de travail avec un système ERP tel que SAP.
  • Excellente maîtrise de Microsoft Excel.
  • Bilinguisme français et anglais.
  • Solides aptitudes en analyse, en résolution de problèmes et en organisation.

Expérience et compétences privilégiées

  • Titre professionnel CPA ou en voie d’obtention.
  • Expérience dans une grande entreprise ou dans les secteurs de la distribution, de la santé, de l’industrie pharmaceutique ou de la chaîne d’approvisionnement.
  • Expérience en budgétisation, prévisions financières et planification financière.
  • Expérience dans l’identification et la mise en œuvre d’améliorations de processus et de contrôles internes.
  • Capacité à influencer les parties prenantes et à développer de solides relations de partenariat.
  • Excellentes aptitudes de communication et de présentation.
  • Connaissance avancée de SAP et de la suite Microsoft Office, notamment PowerPoint et Word.
  • Capacité à gérer plusieurs priorités et à respecter des échéances serrées dans un environnement en constante évolution.

About the Role

McKesson Canada is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst to join our Finance team supporting our pharmaceutical distribution business. In this role, you will be responsible for financial reporting, month-end close activities, account reconciliations, financial analysis, and maintaining the integrity of financial systems and controls.

The successful candidate will partner with business leaders across the organization to provide financial insights, support business decisions, identify risks and opportunities, and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Perform financial analysis and investigate variances in operating results.
  • Complete and review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of outstanding items.
  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of financial data and reporting.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Prepare financial reports for business leaders and corporate finance teams.
  • Partner with operational and cross-functional teams to provide financial guidance and recommendations.
  • Monitor compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and corporate procedures.
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities and recommend proactive solutions.
  • Support rolling forecasts, budgeting activities, and financial planning processes.
  • Contribute to finance transformation initiatives, process improvements, and special projects.
  • Provide ongoing communication and updates to stakeholders regarding financial performance and accounting matters.

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, financial analysis, or a related finance role.
  • Experience preparing financial statements and performing account reconciliations.
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Bilingual in English and French.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Professional accounting designation (CPA) or CPA designation in progress.
  • Experience in a large corporate, distribution, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or supply chain environment.
  • Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Experience identifying and implementing process improvements and internal control enhancements.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and build strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint and Word.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Work Environment

  • Hybrid work arrangement, based on business and team requirements.

The incumbent of this position will provide daily support to internal and/or external clients outside Quebec and/or in the United States. $77,600 - $129,300
