Assistant Director of Sales – Meetings and Events

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Director of Sales – Meetings & Events to join our leadership team at Radisson Blu Hotel Dubai Deira Creek. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving revenue growth for meetings, conferences and social events while strengthening relationships with corporate, government, and MICE clients.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist the Director of Sales in developing and executing the Meetings & Events sales strategy.

· Proactively drive MICE revenue through corporate, government and agency accounts.

· Lead and manage the Meetings & Events sales team to achieve monthly and annual targets.

· Build strong relationships with key clients, event planners, DMCs and third-party agencies.

· Conduct client meetings, hotel site inspections and sales presentations.

· Collaborate closely with Operations, Revenue and Marketing teams to ensure seamless event execution.

· Analyze market trends, competitor activity and pricing strategies.

· Prepare sales forecasts, budgets and performance reports.

· Represent the hotel at trade shows, networking events and industry functions.

Qualifications & Experience:

· Minimum 5 years of experience in hotel sales, with strong focus on Meetings & Events

· Proven experience in a Dubai city hotel (applications without Dubai hotel experience will not be considered)

· Previous experience in a managerial sales role preferred

· Strong knowledge of the Dubai MICE market

· Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills

· Results-oriented with a strong commercial mindset

· Ability to lead, motivate and develop a sales team
