JOB DESCRIPTION <div class="job-details__description-content basic-formatter" data-bind="html: pageData().job.description"> Assistant Professor Computer Science Grade 7 Fulltime, Open Ended Dubai Campus Purpose of the role The School of Mathematical and Computer Sciences (MACS) at Heriot-Watt University Dubai is seeking to make a further full-time appointment of an Assistant Professor in computer science. This post has arisen due to the continued expansion of the Computer Science programmes. The successful candidate will be required to deliver and assess computer science courses at the University’s Dubai Campus as well as being research active in their particular area of expertise. In addition, the position will require the undertaking of basic administrative duties, involvement in student recruitment activities and the supervision of student projects and dissertations. The successful applicant will hold a PhD in Computer Science. Previous teaching experience is essential. Programmes will be delivered in English and so fluency in English is also essential.
