Assistant Sales Manager Parquet Flooring

Job Summary

The Assistant Sales Manager – Parquet Flooring is responsible for supporting the sales team in achieving revenue targets by developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong customer relationships, and promoting parquet flooring products to contractors, architects, interior designers, developers, distributors, and retail customers. The role requires strong product knowledge, sales skills, and market awareness within the flooring or building materials industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Sales Manager in executing sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and client visits.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with architects, interior designers, contractors, consultants, developers, and distributors.
  • Promote the company's range of parquet flooring products and solutions.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and tender submissions.
  • Conduct product presentations and technical demonstrations for customers.
  • Follow up on inquiries, quotations, and project opportunities until closure.
  • Coordinate with the estimation, operations, and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities using CRM software.
  • Resolve customer complaints promptly and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports and forecasts.
  • Participate in trade exhibitions, networking events, and marketing activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field.
  • 4–8 years of sales experience in parquet flooring, wooden flooring, building materials, interiors, or construction products.
  • UAE/GCC market experience is preferred.
  • Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
