Duties

  • Clear tables promptly to maintain a clean and inviting dining area
  • Assist bartenders with stocking bar supplies, glassware, and garnishes to ensure smooth service
  • Maintain cleanliness of the bar, dining area, and service stations in accordance with food safety standards
  • Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems for cash handling and order processing with accuracy
  • Ensure all food handling and safety protocols are followed diligently during service

Skills

  • Previous food service experience or hospitality background preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is key!
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude toward guests and team members
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively within the team
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper cleaning procedures
  • Experience with restaurant POS systems such as Micros or similar platforms is a plus
  • Basic kitchen experience or familiarity with food preparation techniques is advantageous
  • Hospitality or hotel experience can provide valuable insight into guest services
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
  • Enthusiastic team player committed to creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests
