strong Job Purpose nbsp strong Responsible for monitoring maintaining and supporting Building Management Systems BMS that control HVAC electrical lighting fire alarm water and utility systems The position ensures system reliability operational efficiency and compliance with safety and maintenance standards through effective preventive and corrective maintenance activities Working closely with Facilities teams and contractors the role supports uninterrupted building operations and continuous performance improvement nbsp How you will make an impact Key responsibilities nbsp strong 1 BMS Operations System Monitoring nbsp strong nbsp Monitor and operate Building Management System platforms to ensure optimal performance of building services and equipment nbsp nbsp Adjust system parameters and controls to maintain efficient operation of HVAC lighting electrical and plumbing systems nbsp nbsp Monitor alarms system events and performance trends ensuring timely response to abnormalities nbsp nbsp Conduct routine inspections of field devices control panels sensors actuators and associated equipment nbsp nbsp Ensure BMS-controlled systems operate in accordance with operational and energy efficiency requirements nbsp strong 2 Maintenance Troubleshooting Technical Support strong nbsp Perform installation maintenance troubleshooting and repair of BMS controllers sensors actuators and networking devices nbsp Diagnose system faults and carry out corrective maintenance to restore equipment performance nbsp nbsp Support testing commissioning and modification of BMS systems and related building services nbsp Respond promptly to service requests breakdowns and emergency maintenance requirements nbsp nbsp Provide technical assistance and operational guidance to building users and facilities personnel when required nbsp nbsp strong 3 Compliance Safety Reliability nbsp strong Ensure compliance with company procedures maintenance standards and health and safety requirements nbsp Participate in emergency response activities and on-call duties as required nbsp Identify potential equipment failures and recommend corrective actions to improve reliability nbsp Support the efficient operation of HVAC electrical fire alarm and plumbing systems through proactive maintenance practices nbsp nbsp Maintain a safe and clean working environment and report hazards or unsafe conditions immediately nbsp nbsp strong 4 Documentation Reporting Continuous Improvement strong nbsp Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities inspections repairs and system modifications nbsp Prepare fault reports service records and maintenance documentation as required nbsp nbsp Track recurring system issues and recommend improvements to enhance performance and efficiency nbsp nbsp Maintain BMS drawings control schematics manuals and technical documentation nbsp Support initiatives aimed at improving system reliability energy efficiency and overall building performance nbsp strong Qualifications Skills strong nbsp Diploma in Electro-Mechanical HVAC Electrical Engineering or a related field nbsp nbsp 1-4 years of experience in Facilities Management Building Maintenance or BMS Operations nbsp Experience with HVAC systems electrical controls motors fire alarm systems and building automation systems nbsp Strong knowledge of BMS operations building services and preventive and corrective maintenance practices nbsp nbsp Familiarity with automation protocols such as BACnet Modbus or similar systems is preferred nbsp Ability to read and interpret technical drawings electrical schematics and control diagrams nbsp nbsp Strong troubleshooting and fault-diagnosis skills for automation and control systems nbsp Proficiency in computer applications BMS software and maintenance reporting tools nbsp nbsp Good communication coordination and customer service skills
