BOQ & Procurement Coordinator | Company: French Builders Decoration Design & Fitout LLC | Location: Dubai, UAE | Employment Type: Full-time | Job Description: | We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized BOQ & Procurement Coordinator to join our Interior and fit-out team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing BOQs, obtaining supplier quotations, coordinating material purchases, and ensuring materials are procured and delivered according to project requirements and timelines. | Key Responsibilities: | Prepare, review, and update BOQs (Bill of Quantities) for renovation, fit-out, and construction projects. | Prepare material lists based on project drawings, specifications, and site requirements. | Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. | Prepare purchase orders and procurement requests. | Coordinate with suppliers regarding prices, availability, delivery schedules, and payment terms. | Track material orders from quotation through delivery to site. | Maintain a procurement tracker for all ongoing projects. | Coordinate with project managers, engineers, site supervisors, and accounts regarding material requirements and purchases. | Monitor material costs against approved project budgets and BOQs. | Identify price differences, shortages, and variations in material requirements. | Ensure proper documentation of quotations, purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices. | Follow up on pending deliveries and urgently required materials. | Maintain an organized database of suppliers and updated material prices. | Assist in preparing variation quotations and costing when required. | Support the management in negotiating better prices and supplier terms. | Requirements | Previous experience in construction, fit-out, renovation, or interior contracting is preferred. | Experience preparing BOQs and material take-offs. | Good knowledge of construction and fit-out materials. | Strong Excel skills and ability to work with spreadsheets. | Good understanding of procurement procedures. | Strong attention to detail and accuracy. | Good communication and negotiation skills. | Ability to coordinate with multiple suppliers and project teams. | Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. | UAE experience is preferred. | Salary: To be discussed based on experience and qualifications.
