Buiness Devlopment Executive - Pharma & Primary Packaging

We are seeking a proactive Business Development Executive – Pharma Ingredients to drive our B2B sales and expand our market presence in Pakistan. You will be responsible for sourcing, promoting, and selling APIs, excipients, and specialty chemicals, primary packaging to pharmaceutical manufacturing companies. Your focus will be on connecting with procurement heads, R&D formulation scientists, and quality assurance teams across key pharma hubs (e.g., Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Peshawar).Core Responsibilities

  • New Client Acquisition: Identify and onboard new pharmaceutical manufacturers across Pakistan.
  • Technical Consultations: Introduce APIs and excipients to R&D and formulation departments for new drug developments.
  • Regulatory Coordination: Assist clients with documentation like Drug Master Files (DMF), Certificates of Analysis (CoA), and regulatory compliance required by the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP).
  • Indenting & Commercial Sales: Manage the sales lifecycle from inquiry, price negotiation, and indenting to final port delivery or local supply clearance.
  • Account Management: Build long-term relationships with procurement managers to secure annual contract volumes.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor global ingredient price trends (especially from China and India) and competitor activities in Pakistan.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Revenue Growth: Meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual sales volume targets.
  • Pipeline Conversion: Number of ingredients successfully approved by client R&D/QA departments.
  • Outstanding Recovery: Ensuring timely payment collections in compliance with company credit policies.
