We are lookingfor aBusiness Development Director – UK and help shape the future of construction tech. We\'re on a mission to eliminate downtime in the industry, and we’re looking for a strategic and driven commercial leader to accelerate our growth in the UK market. In this high-impact role, you’ll play a key part in expanding our ecosystem, unlocking new revenue streams, and driving lasting partnerships across the construction landscape. Who are you ideally ?

  • 7-10 years of B2B business development or enterprise sales experience, ideally in SaaS, IoT, or construction tech sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals and growing enterprise accounts.
  • Deep knowledge of the UK construction or heavy equipment market; experience selling into rental companies or contractors is a strong advantage.
  • Commercially strategic mindset with strong analytical skills and executive presence.
  • Comfortable operating in a high-growth, international, and purpose-driven company.
  • Experience using Salesforce and related tools for structured pipeline and account planning.

Primary responsibilities:

Strategic Market Expansion

  • Shape and lead the UK go-to-market strategy in alignment with Trackunit’s global business goals and vertical growth focus.
  • Identify and prioritise new growth segments, strategic partnerships, and rental opportunities.
  • Lead long-term market mapping and opportunity analysis in construction technology and related ecosystems.

Sales Leadership

  • Drive complex deal cycles from discovery through contract negotiation, targeting fleet owners, rental companies, and enterprise accounts.
  • Personally manage high-value accounts and influence procurement decision.
  • Develop account penetration strategies and multi-stakeholder engagement plans across strategic customers.
  • Deliver consistently on Quota and commercial objectives

Ecosystem and Partnerships

  • Forge commercial alliances and integration partnerships that contribute to the Trackunit ecosystem vision.
  • Represent Trackunit in UK-based industry events, consortiums, and innovation forums to elevate our thought leadership and market position.

Cross-functional Alignment & Execution

  • Work closely with Product, Customer Success, Marketing, and Strategy teams to tailor propositions and ensure a strong product-market fit.
  • Translate customer feedback into actionable insights for product development and GTM refinement.
  • Partner with Customer Success to ensure seamless onboarding, value delivery, and expansion opportunities.
  • Implement structured pipeline reviews, sales forecasting, and performance management using CRM and sales analytics.
  • Act as a wingman for the KAM team and provide clear insights into new cutomers and Logos
