Job Description Strategy

  • Participate in preparing and reviewing Terms of Reference (TORs) and Consultancy Service
  • Agreement documents in alignment with RTA’s design and contracting standards.
  • Support strategic coordination with external entities (e.g., Dubai Municipality, Ministry of
  • Public Works, developers) to align project objectives with broader city infrastructure goals.
Operations
  • Review geometric designs for road and highway projects to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with approved standards.
  • Coordinate between consultants and relevant RTA departments to ensure seamless execution of project tasks and resolution of design-related issues.
  • Monitor project progress, measure consultant performance, and ensure deliverables meet RTA’s quality expectations and timelines.
  • Prepare technical reports, correspondence, and presentations for higher management, ensuring clarity and alignment with project objectives.
  • Actively participate in cross-functional RTA committees and working groups to support integrated design outcomes.
Product/Process Improvement
  • Provide input for enhancing coordination workflows between departments and external stakeholders to improve design efficiency and project delivery timelines.
  • Implement best practices from RTA’s project management policies to standardize design review, reporting, and follow-up procedures.
  • Physical Working Conditions
  • Office-based work with routine field visits and attendance at coordination meetings with consultants, agencies, and other stakeholders.
  • May require travel to design sites and participation in multi-agency reviews.
Qualifications Job Qualifications & Requirements Education : Bachelor's degree/master's degree in civil engineering and Transportation Engineering Experience: 1+ years in case of master’s degree (2+ years in case of bachelor’s degree) in related field
