About the Internship

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Civil Engineer Intern who is eager to gain practical experience in construction project execution, site engineering, and project management. This internship offers hands-on exposure to real-world construction projects under the guidance of experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in site surveys, measurements, and field inspections.
  • Support preparation of quantity estimations and cost estimates.
  • Assist in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), rate analysis, and quantity take-offs.
  • Learn and assist in project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring.
  • Support manpower planning, allocation, and daily workforce management.
  • Assist in material planning, procurement coordination, inventory tracking, and stock management.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Ensure work is executed according to drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Assist in quality control, safety compliance, and documentation.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, layouts, and construction plans.
  • Maintain project records, measurement books, and site documentation.
  • Support billing, measurement verification, and project documentation whenever required.
  • Perform other engineering and project-related tasks assigned by the project manager.

Required Skills

  • Basic knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction practices.
  • Understanding of estimation, BOQ preparation, and quantity surveying is preferred.
  • Familiarity with engineering drawings and technical documentation.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Ability to work both on-site and in an office environment.
  • Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and willingness to take responsibility.

Eligibility

  • Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
  • Freshers are encouraged to apply.
  • Candidates willing to travel to project sites will be preferred.
