This role is responsible for ensuring the clinical quality of AI and providing oversight—along with core responsibilities in clinical quality and patient safety. You will lead and/or support governance, validation, and monitoring of AI/LLM tools. You will also help support URAC/NCQA-aligned quality processes within our virtual and hybrid care models. This position reports to the Patient Safety Officer within the Clinical Quality team.</div> <div></div> <div></div> <div><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <div class="posting-requirements plain-list" data-qa="posting-requirements"> <div> <div> <p data-pm-slice="1 3 []"><strong>Validate clinical AI tools and strengthen LLMs</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Lead validation before rollout.</p> </li> <li> <p>Create model cards/transparency documents (intended use, limitations, monitoring, rollback).</p> </li> <li> <p>Partner on data quality (source, representativeness, update cadence, privacy).</p> </li> <li> <p>Develop LLM evaluation datasets and “gold standards”; run clinical red teams and prompt testing; refine prompts and safeguards; evaluate RAG faithfulness.</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Implement “Clinical-in-the-loop”</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Train physicians on monitoring AI tools and making exception decisions; create SOPs/checklists/escalation processes for using LLMs.</p> </li> <li> <p>Work with Engineering and Product, Security, Compliance, Legal, and leadership across care/service lines.</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong>AI governance and policy</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Drive governance for clinical AI (ethics, safety, regulation, privacy, change control, documentation) in partnership with the Patient Safety Officer.</p> </li> <li> <p>Define criteria for clinical use and protective measures with “human-in-the-loop.”</p> </li> <li> <p>Maintain governance documentation (charter, SOPs, decision logs) and support audit readiness.</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Quality and patient safety</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Support clinical QA, URAC/NCQA-related initiatives, and oversee guidelines/standards/rubrics.</p> </li> <li> <p>Lead and/or participate in event detection, root-cause analyses (RCA/FMEA), and CAPA;
