Aragon Properties Ltd. is seeking a highly organized and motivated Construction Project Administrator/ Coordinator to join our residential construction team at our Vancouver Head Office.

This position is ideal for someone with exceptional administrative and organizational skills who is interested in building a career in residential construction. Previous residential construction experience is considered an asset; however, we are equally interested in candidates who have strong administrative abilities, are quick learners, and are eager to develop their construction knowledge.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Construction Project Administrator/Coordinator provides administrative, procurement and project coordination support for multiple residential construction projects from our Vancouver Head Office.

This position plays an important role in supporting the successful delivery of our projects by coordinating schedules, maintaining project documentation, assisting with procurement activities, and ensuring accurate document control throughout the construction process.

The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent organizational skills, and demonstrate the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide administrative and project coordination support for multiple residential construction projects.

· Coordinate and maintain project schedules and track project milestones.

· Prepare, organize and maintain electronic project documentation and filing systems.

· Assist with procurement activities, including preparing tender packages, coordinating the tender process and tracking submissions.

· Prepare contracts, purchase orders and project correspondence.

· Maintain document control, including drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals and project records.

· Coordinate communication between Project Managers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal departments.

· Prepare meeting agendas, record meeting minutes and distribute project documentation.

· Monitor project administrative requirements and assist with maintaining project schedules.

· Provide general administrative support to the Construction Department.

Qualifications

· Exceptional administrative and organizational skills.

· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).

· Experience managing electronic filing and document management systems.

· Experience coordinating projects or supporting project teams is considered an asset.

· Residential construction experience is considered an asset.

· Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering Technology or a related discipline is considered an asset.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Annual Salary: $60,000 – $80,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
