Conventional Trailer Operator

Your Tasks and Responsibilities: As a Conventional Trailer Operator at Roll Group Middle East, you will be responsible for: Preparing transport operations, including mobilization and preparation of transport combinations. Ensuring the presence of all necessary documentation and identifying safety risks in the workplace. Safely operating heavy transport trucks, conventional trailers, and other means of transport. Following industry-recognized signals and practices for load movement. Performing and checking rigging and lashing to ensure safe transport of personnel, load, and equipment. Compliance with established safety regulations, both internally and externally. Troubleshooting and resolving any issues with trailers. Utilizing basic knowledge of engineering drawings/sketches to ensure load compliance. Assisting with jacking, pumping, carriage, winch, and related tasks before, during, and after movement. Collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Identifying necessary maintenance and repairs. Completing and managing administrative tasks such as consignment notes and weekly statements. Performing other related duties as necessary or assigned by the manager or supervisor. Minimum Requirements: 3-5 years of experience in transport operations, rigging operations, and equipment. Excellent communication and situational awareness skills. Knowledge and competency related to transportation under regional governing agencies. Valid driver’s license through the local jurisdiction.
