Creative Strategist, Paid Ads

Job Description:

  • Lead creative strategy and testing for 3–5 eCommerce brands across Meta, TikTok, and other paid social platforms
  • Develop data-backed creative hypotheses, plan structured tests, and iterate quickly to scale winning ads
  • Write clear, actionable creative briefs for creators, editors, and designers, from hook to CTA
  • Review ad performance and creative metrics to identify winning angles, patterns, and opportunities
  • Partner with Account Managers to connect creative insights to campaign KPIs and client reporting
  • Maintain a high creative bar while ensuring consistent weekly output
  • Keep production moving quickly without sacrificing clarity or quality
  • Own the full creative strategy loop: hypothesis, test, learn, and scale
  • Collaborate with creators, editors, designers, and account managers to develop, test, and scale ads

Requirements:

  • 1–3 years of experience developing, optimizing, or directing paid social creative, ideally in eCommerce
  • Proven track record of creative that drives measurable results (CTR, CVR, CPA, ROAS, etc.)
  • Strong portfolio of paid social creatives, especially UGC-style ads for platforms like TikTok and Meta
  • Strong grasp of paid social creative fundamentals: copy, hooks, framing, pacing, structure, and storytelling
  • Comfortable working with UGC creators, editors, and designers—and giving clear feedback
  • Analytical mindset: ability to turn performance data into specific creative next steps
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
  • Experience running or supporting creative testing frameworks (bonus)
  • Background in agencies or multi-brand environments (bonus)
  • Familiarity with eCommerce customer psychology and funnel thinking (bonus)
  • Comfort presenting creative learnings to internal or client-facing teams (bonus)
  • Candidates must be located in the U.S. or Canada
