Position Summary

The Design Engineer will support Etisalat-driven telecom design projects across the UAE, with a strong focus on RF and in‑building (IBS) design activities. This role is crucial for delivering high‑quality, standards-compliant network designs that ensure optimal in‑building and RF coverage performance.

Detailed Job Description

In this role, you will be part of the UAE design engineering team working closely on Etisalat telecom infrastructure projects. You will prepare RF/iBWave designs, validate site details, coordinate with project stakeholders, and ensure that all deliverables meet strict operator standards. This position requires attention to detail, an understanding of in‑building coverage requirements, and the ability to produce high‑quality design outputs within defined timelines. Candidates with prior exposure to Etisalat guidelines and UAE telecom environments will be highly preferred.

✅ Key Responsibilities Prepare RF design and iBWave-based in‑building solutions (IBS/IBD). Develop accurate link budgets, signal predictions, coverage layouts, and BOMs. Ensure all designs comply with Etisalat standards and submission processes. Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and project managers for design validation. Review fiber, DAS, small cell, and RF layouts as required. Deliver designs within project timelines and maintain documentation accuracy. Support quality checks, revision cycles, and technical clarifications. Required Qualifications & Skills 1–3 years of experience in telecom design engineering. Strong knowledge of RF design or in‑building solutions using iBWave. Familiarity with Etisalat design standards (highly preferred). Good understanding of IBS, DAS, RF fundamentals, and signal propagation. Strong communication and coordination skills.
