Role Description The Digital Marketing (Freelance) – Travel & Tourism role is a full-time hybrid position based in Dubai, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. This role focuses on planning and executing digital marketing campaigns that promote izi.TRAVEL’s storytelling platform to travel, tourism, and cultural sector partners and audiences. Daily tasks include managing social media channels, creating and scheduling content, optimizing campaigns for engagement and lead generation, and collaborating with internal teams and partners to highlight audio guides, museums, and city experiences. The role also involves tracking performance using web analytics tools, preparing reports and insights, and continuously refining online marketing strategies for key markets. The person in this position will engage with travel and tourism stakeholders, support partnership initiatives, and contribute to brand visibility in the region and beyond. Qualifications - Strong skills in Social Media Marketing and Online Marketing, with experience running campaigns for travel, tourism, or cultural sectors. - Proficiency in Digital Marketing strategies, including content planning, campaign execution, and optimization across multiple digital channels. - Ability to use Web Analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics or similar) to monitor performance, interpret data, and make data-driven recommendations. - Excellent Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication in English; additional languages related to the region are an advantage. - Experience with content creation for digital platforms (social posts, blogs, newsletters, or ad copy) geared toward travelers and cultural audiences. - Familiarity with marketing for mobile apps or SaaS platforms, especially in the travel and tourism ecosystem. - Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with capacity to work independently in a freelance setup and coordinate with distributed teams. - Relevant education or training in Marketing, Communications, Tourism Management, or a closely related field is preferred. - Interest in culture, museums, storytelling, and educational technology, with a motivation to support inclusive and accessible visitor experiences.
