Your role As a

Document Controller,

you will: Control, register, and distribute all project drawings, specifications, plans, and procedures. Organize and maintain structured digital files within specialized Document Management Systems (DMS).

Respond to formal document requests, revisions, and queries from project staff, clients, and subcontractors. Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing documents to ensure compliance with ISO and customer QA standards. Identify, report, and resolve document discrepancies, tracking required corrective actions to completion.

Provide administrative support, generate status reports, and collaborate with broader project teams to meet delivery deadlines.

What You Need: Non-negotiables: Document Management System (DMS) Expertise:

At least 3 years of hands-on experience using professional document control platforms such as

QDMS or

InEight Document / TeamBinder

(managing documents solely via Excel register downloads will not qualify). System Workflow Vetting:

Proven capability to clearly articulate and demonstrate deep knowledge of formal document control workflows (e.g., transmittals, workflows, redlines, and revision numbering). Engineering & Construction Literacy:

Sound working exposure to multi-disciplinary engineering documentation, including Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Piping, and Electrical drawings. Data Management & Excel Skills:

Advanced MS Excel and computer literacy to organize and audit heavy volumes of technical metadata. Communication:

Highly competent and confident written and verbal English communication skills for handling stakeholder inquiries.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Direct document control experience working with a Construction, Engineering, or Maintenance service provider. Direct system administration or super-user experience within

InEight Document or

QDMS . Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management principles. Strong problem-solving skills to independently resolve document indexing bottlenecks and transmission errors.
