<p><strong>We’re Hiring – Document Controller | Building Construction</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Abu Alnaga Contracting is looking for an experienced <strong>Document Controller</strong> to join our team and support our building construction projects.</p><p><br></p><p>📍 <strong>Location:</strong> UAE</p><p>🏗️ <strong>Industry:</strong> Building Construction</p><p>💼 <strong>Position:</strong> Document Controller</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Maintain and control all project documents, including drawings, specifications, method statements, RFIs, submittals, reports, correspondence, and transmittals.</li><li>Receive, register, distribute, and track incoming and outgoing project documents.</li><li>Ensure all documents are properly numbered, dated, filed, and maintained according to the project document control procedure.</li><li>Maintain document registers and ensure the latest approved revisions are available to relevant teams.</li><li>Monitor document revisions and prevent the use of superseded or obsolete documents.</li><li>Manage the submission and approval status of drawings, material submittals, RFIs, and other technical documents.</li><li>Prepare and issue transmittals and maintain records of document submissions and responses.</li><li>Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, and internal departments regarding document submissions and approvals.</li><li>Maintain both electronic and hard-copy filing systems and ensure documents are easily retrievable.</li><li>Upload and manage documents through project document management systems such as Aconex, Procore, SharePoint, or similar platforms.</li><li>Track pending approvals, comments, revisions, and overdue submissions and follow up with the responsible parties.</li><li>Maintain confidentiality and ensure proper access to project documents.</li><li>Assist the Project Manager and project team in preparing document reports and document status updates.</li><li>Ensure proper archiving and handover of project documentation upon project completion.</li><li>Perform any other document control duties assigned by management.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification preferred.</li><li><strong>3+ years of experience</strong> as a Document Controller in the <strong>building construction industry</strong>.</li><li>Experience working with construction project documentation.</li><li>Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.</li><li>Familiarity with document management systems such as Aconex, Procore, or similar platforms is an advantage.</li><li>Strong organizational and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>📩 <strong>Interested candidates:</strong> Please send your updated CV via email Career@abualnaga.com</p><p><br></p><p>#Hiring #DocumentController #ConstructionJobs #BuildingConstruction #UAEJobs #ConstructionIndustry #DocumentControl #Recruitment #JobsInUAE</p>
