We always reach for more.#InchcapeShippingServicesBusiness Need / Purpose of RoleThe Operations Executive - Ship Chandelling reporting to the Manager - Ship Chandelling, UAE shall be responsible to managing the day to day operations of the business and maintain a high level of service delivery. Actively engage in vendor management and registrations as per company defined policies.Objectives & Measurement – Key ResponsibilitiesRespond to RFQ’s in a timely and professional manner. Establish contact and communicate with vessels / principals by mail / phone. Ensure accurate quotations are sent out to all RFQ’s. Execute Order deliveries in a smooth and timely manner. Prepare and maintain operations reports on daily and weekly basis. Ensure effective payment cycle / invoicing process is maintained for all orders. Knowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesCompetent user of the Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Excel, and Word. Being able to communicate verbally/writing in a clear and concise manner. Balance multiple tasks, changing priorities & operate within a deadline-oriented environment. Good interpersonal relationship in managing people/sub-ordinates, planning, organizing. Excellent attention to minute details. Self-driven, organized, good communication skills. Strong planning and coordination skills. Strong Problem Solving & Analytical Skills. Excellent Time Management Skills. Having a global perspective and possess a progressive thinking skill. Education, Qualifications, Certifications, And Licenses3 years’ experience in similar role with excellent knowledge of local Middle East exposure. Having a good knowledge of customer base and their requirements. Relevant experience of working within a Marine Services industry. Experience of working to pre-defined processes and procedures and delivering work in accordance to SLA (Service Level Agreements). Good level of numeracy. A relevant degree shall be appreciated. UAE Driving License shall be desirable.
