As the Accountant, you will support the Accounts Department by performing daily bookkeeping tasks, ensuring compliance and transparency of our financial resources. You will maintain and reconcile accounts, prepare financial statements, manage the database and assist with monthly/annual closings under the guidance of the Principal Accountant. What you will do: - Record journal entries and ensure all business transactions are documented - Update accounts receivable and issue/process invoices - Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations - Assist in handling balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements per accounting and cost guidelines - Maintain up‑to‑date financial data in databases for accurate, real‑time reporting - Sustain senior accountants in preparing monthly/annual closings and external/internal bookkeeping - Help review expenses, payroll records and other assignments from the Principal Accountant Demands: - At least 1–2 years of accounting experience in the UAE - Experience in bank reconciliation, vendor and receivables reconciliation - Understanding of prepayments, accruals, depreciation and month‑end closing - Able to multitask under pressure in a fast‑paced environment - Team‑player with strong communication skills in English - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Bachelor’s degree in audit or related field - Knowledge of Oracle Net Collection is a plus - Experience in F&B (restaurants) is a plus - Preferably available to start immediately and currently located in Dubai, UAE Advantages: - 30‑day work-from‑home outside the UAE - Medical insurance - Discounts on all brand products
