Position:Emirati Accountancy Trainee/GraduateLocation: Dubai United Arab Emirates
As an Accountancy Trainee or Graduate you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for financial management and reporting. Your role will involve assisting with various accounting tasks and gaining practical experience in the field. Here are the key responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing monthly financial results including departmental profit and loss statements.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decisionmaking.
  • Document financial transactions by accurately entering account information.
  • Handle the preparation and posting of general ledger journals.
  • Cover prepayments expense accruals and interest accruals.
  • Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
  • Participate in the budgeting process.
  • Prepare asset liability and capital account entries.
  • Contribute to financial standards setting.
  • Assist with annual audit preparations.
  • Investigate and resolve audit findings account discrepancies and issues of noncompliance.
  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field (Emirati graduates only).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
