Responsibilities

  • Provide virtual outpatient care to adult patients with endocrine and metabolic conditions including diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, obesity, and adrenal disorders
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments via video visits
  • Develop, implement, and adjust treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
  • Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies
  • Provide patient education and counseling focused on lifestyle and medication adherence
  • Document clinical encounters accurately and timely in the EMR
  • Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams and refer patients as clinically appropriate

Requirements

  • CA Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in good standing
  • Minimum 2 years of Endocrinology experience in outpatient or telehealth settings
  • Strong communication and clinical documentation skills
  • Ability to practice autonomously in a remote care environment
  • Reliable internet connection and familiarity with telemedicine technology
