As an Environmental Health & Safety Officer, you will be responsible for implementing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental practices across the organization to ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi regulations and company standards. Also, you will conduct inspections, risk assessments, and safety training programs to maintain a safe working environment. And will support to promote a strong safety culture throughout the workplace. Key Responsibilities - Monitor workplace health, safety, and environmental practices to ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi regulations and company policies. - Conduct regular inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations, and recommend corrective actions. - Develop and deliver health & safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for colleagues. - Maintain safety records, permits, reports, and documentation required by local authorities and audits. - Coordinate emergency response procedures and safety compliance activities with relevant departments. - Conducting audits, inspections, incident investigations and report-writing skills. About You - Strong knowledge in local authority inspections and compliance related to Environmental Health & Safety regulations in Abu Dhabi. - Excellent understanding of risk assessment, incident investigation, and emergency response procedures. - Ability to identify hazards and implement preventive and corrective measures effectively. - Ability to work independently and collaborate with multiple departments. - Strong commitment to workplace safety, compliance, and continuous improvement. - Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. - NEBOSH IGC (International General Certificate) is required. - Certification in First Aid, Fire Safety, or Emergency Response is preferred. - Knowledge in ADOSH system framework requirements and UAE labour safety regulations is highly desirable. - Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Environment, Health & Safety operations preferably within hospitality, facilities management, or corporate environments in UAE.
