Event Manager - Production
Manage the end-to-end production delivery of live events.Lead production planning from initial technical requirements through setup, rehearsals, live show delivery and breakdown.Review and assess technical riders, production plans, stage layouts, schedules and equipment requirements.Coordinate all production elements including audio, lighting, LED screens, video, staging, rigging, trussing, power distribution, special effects and technical communications.Liaise with promoters, production companies, technical suppliers, show producers and touring production teams.Ensure external and touring production requirements are compatible with the venue’s technical infrastructure.Develop detailed production schedules, technical plans and equipment requirements for each event.Coordinate production load-in, installation, testing, rehearsals, sound checks, show calls and load-out.Supervise production suppliers, contractors and technical crews throughout event setup and delivery.Review production drawings, rigging plans, power requirements and technical specifications.Identify technical challenges in advance and provide practical production solutions.Ensure all production equipment is installed, tested and show-ready within agreed timelines.Manage production-related changes and technical issues during rehearsals and live events.Ensure production activities comply with relevant technical safety requirements, risk assessments and approved method statements.Monitor production quality and ensure delivery meets agreed creative and technical standards.Support preparation and management of event production budgets and supplier costs.Review production quotations, scopes of work and supplier deliverables.Conduct post-event production debriefs and document technical issues, lessons learned and improvement opportunities.Support continuous improvement of production systems, equipment, technical capabilities and procedures.
