Event Sales Director

The Director of Sales – Hotel Real Estate & Island Sales is responsible for leading all sales activities related to The Heart of Europe's hotel real estate portfolio and associated hospitality products. The role focuses on driving revenue through the sale of hotel investment units (hotel rooms and branded hospitality real estate), while overseeing a high-performing island sales team responsible for promoting the company's hospitality, lifestyle, entertainment, and event offerings.

This position combines strategic sales leadership, team management, investor engagement, and customer relationship management to achieve ambitious revenue targets while delivering an exceptional client experience.

Key Responsibilities

Hotel Real Estate Sales

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve hotel real estate sales targets.
  • Market and sell hotel investment units to local and international investors.
  • Build and maintain relationships with high-net-worth individuals, investors, brokers, and strategic partners.
  • Conduct professional presentations highlighting investment opportunities, projected returns, ownership benefits, and hospitality concepts.
  • Lead property inspections, investor site visits, island tours, and private show-arounds.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation through contract execution and handover.
  • Work closely with legal, finance, CRM, and operations teams to ensure a seamless sales process.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of qualified investors and accurately forecast sales performance.

Island Sales Team Leadership

Lead and manage a team of approximately 10 Island Sales Executives responsible for achieving revenue targets across multiple business segments, including:

  • Hotel real estate investment products
  • Hotel room bookings
  • Birthday celebrations
  • Anniversary celebrations
  • Private events
  • Corporate events
  • Hospitality packages
  • Nu'Arts entertainment experiences
  • Seasonal promotions
  • Upselling and cross-selling hospitality products and services

Responsibilities include:

  • Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop team members.
  • Set individual and team KPIs.
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching sessions.
  • Motivate the team through sales initiatives and performance incentives.
  • Ensure adherence to company sales processes and service standards.
  • Develop succession plans and identify future sales leaders.

Business Development

  • Identify new revenue opportunities and strategic partnerships.
  • Build relationships with travel partners, investors, real estate agencies, and corporate clients.
  • Expand market penetration across domestic and international markets.
  • Attend networking events, exhibitions, roadshows, and investor presentations.

Customer Experience

  • Deliver an exceptional investor and guest experience throughout the sales journey.
  • Ensure all client interactions reflect The Heart of Europe's luxury hospitality standards.

  • Maintain long-term relationships that generate referrals and repeat business.

Sales Operations & Reporting

  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports.
  • Monitor KPIs and revenue performance against targets.
  • Maintain CRM accuracy and sales documentation.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights.
  • Recommend strategies to maximise occupancy, investment sales, and ancillary revenue.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Hospitality, Real Estate, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Master's degree is advantageous.
  • Professional sales or real estate certifications are desirable.
