Role Description The Executive Assistant – Film Finance & Investments is a remote role that will transition to in person as we move into our new offices later this year. We are seeking an exceptionally organized, analytically minded Executive Assistant to join a growing film finance and investment company operating at the intersection of capital, creativity, and the business of filmmaking .

This is an opportunity for someone who speaks the language of finance but loves the language of film.

The ideal candidate may come from investment banking, private equity, venture capital, wealth management, consulting, accounting, or another analytically rigorous environment—but has always maintained a genuine passion for movies and the entertainment business. You understand that behind every film is not only a creative vision, but also a capital structure, financial model, distribution strategy, and investment thesis.

You will work closely with senior leadership across a wide range of responsibilities, from executive scheduling and investor communications to financial analysis, project evaluation, deal tracking, and preparation for investment meetings.

While this is an Executive Assistant position, we are looking for someone interested in learning the mechanics of film finance and growing with the company . For the right candidate, the role offers meaningful exposure to how films are evaluated, financed, packaged, produced, and ultimately brought to market.

Responsibilities will include

  • Manage complex calendars, meetings, travel, calls, and day-to-day priorities for senior leadership.
  • Coordinate meetings with investors, filmmakers, producers, agents, managers, attorneys, financiers, distributors, and other industry partners.
  • Prepare executives for meetings by organizing relevant project materials, financial information, correspondence, and key discussion points.
  • Maintain highly organized systems for tracking projects, investment opportunities, deal status, follow-ups, deadlines, and internal priorities.
  • Assist with the preparation and review of financial models, investment analyses, project budgets, capitalization structures, recoupment waterfalls, and return scenarios .
  • Support the evaluation of potential film investments by organizing financial, creative, production, and market information.
  • Help maintain and update project slates, investment pipelines, financing materials, and internal reporting.
  • Review and organize pitch decks, business plans, term sheets, budgets, distribution assumptions, sales estimates, and other deal materials.
  • Assist with investor communications, presentations, meeting preparation, and ongoing relationship management.
  • Conduct research on filmmakers, talent, production companies, distributors, financiers, comparable films, box office performance, and broader entertainment-market trends.
  • Read scripts and project materials and contribute thoughtful observations from both a creative and commercial perspective .
  • Coordinate confidential and time-sensitive information across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Anticipate needs before they become requests and help senior leadership stay focused on the company's highest-value priorities.
Qualifications We are particularly interested in candidates with 1–4+ years of experience in finance, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, consulting, accounting, wealth management, corporate finance, entertainment finance, talent agencies, management companies, studios, or similarly demanding professional environments.

Strong candidates will bring

  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Strong proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint ; experience building or working with financial models is highly valued.
