We maintain and optimize technologies in the Global Amazon Warehouse and Delivery Network.</p> <p>We are looking for motivated, customer-focused people who want to join our team as a Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician. The focus of this role is to ensure safety regulations and policies are adhered to, to ensure preventative maintenance is conducted on time to a high standard, and to provide high levels of equipment availability through continuous improvement.</p> <p>Key job responsibilities<br /> The Reliability Maintenance Engineering coordinator will role model health and safety best practices and monitor those around them to ensure they follow the example they set.</p> <p>– You will work in a hands-on manner and demonstrate Subject Matter Expert levels of knowledge on all Material Handling Equipment in the building.<br /> – You will coach and mentor the technicians on shift while supporting the line manager and supervising the shift in their absence.<br /> – You will provide high levels of equipment availability to our internal customers by means of troubleshooting and prioritizing issues effectively.<br /> – You will support continuous improvement of systems in a standard manner across the network and develop and maintain good working relationships across all levels in the organization.<br /> – You will demonstrate a strong understanding of Overall Equipment Effectiveness and equipment performance metrics.<br /> – You will also be responsible for the management of contractors working within the facility.<br /> – Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.</p> <h3>Basic qualifications</h3> <p>– 1+ years of working with computers and Microsoft Office products and applications experience<br /> – Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, engineering technology or equivalent, or 1+ years of industrial controls and automation experience<br /> – Experience in project management including resource planning, managing schedules, reporting project status and prioritizing own tasks and those of other team members for multiple projects</p> <h3>Preferred qualifications</h3> <p>– Experience in material handling systems (MHS) installation, operation and maintenance<br /> – Experience with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller)-controlled automation and issue diagnosis in a continuous process or production environment, or experience working with electrical and mechanical conveyance systems</p> <p>Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
