The Role

We are seeking an experienced Fashion Product Manager to lead fashion product strategy, development, and lifecycle management. The ideal candidate will oversee product planning, collection development, market analysis, supplier coordination, merchandising strategy, and cross-functional collaboration while ensuring products meet customer expectations, brand standards, quality requirements, and commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute fashion product strategies, category plans, and seasonal roadmaps aligned with brand vision, market trends, customer insights, and business objectives.
  • Lead end-to-end fashion product development processes from concept ideation and trend research through design, sampling, production, launch, and lifecycle management.
  • Collaborate with Fashion Designers, Merchandisers, Sourcing Teams, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Partners, Quality Assurance, Marketing, E-Commerce, Retail Teams, and Executive Leadership to deliver successful product collections.
  • Manage product portfolios across apparel, accessories, footwear, lifestyle products, and fashion categories while optimizing commercial performance and customer appeal.
  • Conduct market research, consumer analysis, competitor benchmarking, trend forecasting, and fashion intelligence studies to identify growth opportunities.
  • Translate customer insights, market trends, and business strategies into product concepts, design briefs, pricing strategies, and collection plans.
  • Partner with designers and creative teams to develop product specifications, materials, color palettes, silhouettes, prototypes, and seasonal collections.
  • Manage product development timelines including concept approval, technical design, sample reviews, production readiness, quality validation, and commercial launch.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and sourcing partners to ensure product quality, cost efficiency, production capacity, and delivery performance.
  • Develop product lifecycle strategies including assortment planning, product launches, seasonal refreshes, inventory optimization, and product discontinuation decisions.
  • Analyze sales performance, customer feedback, product profitability, market trends, and inventory data to improve product strategies and commercial outcomes.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including sales growth, gross margin, product profitability, sell-through rate, inventory turnover, customer satisfaction, return rates, product adoption, collection performance, and market share.
  • Conduct product reviews, assortment evaluations, quality assessments, competitor analyses, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE fashion regulations, product safety standards, textile requirements, ethical sourcing practices, sustainability commitments, and organizational brand guidelines.
  • Manage product development budgets, supplier relationships, production partners, material vendors, agencies, and strategic fashion partnerships.
  • Drive digital transformation through artificial intelligence (AI)-powered trend forecasting, customer analytics, virtual sampling, 3D product design, demand prediction, personalization technologies, and business intelligence solutions.
  • Utilize PLM systems, Centric PLM, Backbone PLM, Adobe Creative Cloud, CLO 3D, Browzwear, Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento, SAP, Oracle Retail, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Google Analytics 4, Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft 365, and fashion analytics platforms to manage product development and performance.
  • Prepare executive presentations, product strategy reports, collection reviews, market analyses, profitability assessments, launch plans, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
