Role Context

The Financial Communications Manager plays a strategic role in shaping how the organization communicates its financial performance, business outlook, and market position to investors, regulators, and the public. This position ensures transparency, compliance, and strong market confidence through accurate financial disclosures, investor messaging, and executive communication support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial communication strategies aligned with corporate objectives and regulatory requirements
  • Establish financial communication procedures that ensure accuracy, consistency, compliance, and timely reporting
  • Coordinate public relations strategy with Investor Relations, Finance, Marketing, and Corporate Communications teams
  • Lead the communication of the company's financial performance, results, and business achievements to external stakeholders
  • Direct the preparation and release of earnings reports, financial statements, and public disclosures in line with company regulations
  • Manage financial newsletters, reports, website financial content, and digital communication channels
  • Create strong messaging around company growth, strategic priorities, and financial outlook for investors and the market
  • Organize financial communication events including roadshows, conference calls, analyst meetings, and investor briefings
  • Ensure timely and accurate updates of financial information on the corporate website and investor platforms
  • Support the development of annual financial reports and corporate reporting publications
  • Prepare media engagement materials in collaboration with External Communications for effective coverage of financial performance
  • Counsel senior management for media interviews, press conferences, and investor-facing presentations
  • Monitor changes in financial reporting regulations and ensure full compliance with disclosure requirements
  • Identify communication risks, reputation issues, and emerging challenges while recommending effective solutions
  • Maintain close collaboration with legal, compliance, and investor relations teams regarding disclosures and market-sensitive information

Ideal Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree with strong experience in Finance and Communication
  • Proven experience in a listed company environment or advising listed companies on financial communication
  • Experience supporting IPO preparation, investor communications, or public market reporting
  • Exposure to regulated stock exchange environments such as UK, USA, Singapore, or other international financial markets
  • Strong knowledge of investor relations, financial reporting, and market disclosure requirements
  • Excellent business and market understanding with strong financial communication expertise
  • Experience in media relations, reputation management, and crisis communications
  • Ability to provide strategic business advisory support to senior executives and C‑suite leadership
  • Strong presentation, writing, and stakeholder engagement skills
