Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality transcreation, translation, and cultural adaptation for marketing, entertainment, and multimedia creative content from Indonesian into English
  • Work collaboratively with internal and linguistic teams to ensure high quality output across various platforms
  • Conduct deep cultural and market research to ensure copy avoids literal translation pitfalls and captures brand tone, humor, and nuances
  • Review, proofread, and provide constructive feedback on Indonesian-to-English marketing copy to optimize campaign performance

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Marketing, Linguistics, Communications, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in marketing translation and creative transcreation
  • Native-level fluency in English (US) with professional-grade comprehension of Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia)
  • Proven track record of adapting tone, style, and voice across diverse brand guidelines
  • Familiarity with modern CAT tools and localization workflows
