The Front Office Agent is responsible for providing a warm welcome and exceptional guest experience throughout the guest journey. The role includes handling check-in and check-out procedures, guest requests, reservations support, and ensuring smooth front desk operations in line with hotel standards and IHG Hotels & Resorts brand guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner upon arrival.
  • Perform efficient check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Handle room reservations, amendments, and cancellations accurately.
  • Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate guest records and payment transactions.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping and other departments to ensure room readiness and guest satisfaction.
  • Provide information about hotel facilities, island activities, transportation, and local attractions.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards.
  • Handle cash, credit card transactions, and daily cashiering procedures responsibly.
  • Upsell hotel rooms, promotions, and guest services whenever possible.
  • Maintain confidentiality of guest information and ensure data privacy.
  • Support emergency procedures and maintain safety awareness at all times.
  • Assist colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Previous experience in Front Office or Guest Services in a hotel environment preferred.
  • Experience with IHG Hotels & Resorts brand standards is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent customer service attitude with professional grooming standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced island resort environment.
  • Knowledge of Opera PMS or similar hotel management system preferred.
  • Good problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
  • Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
