Gantry Crane Operator (DP World)

DP World is actively searching for a highly focused and safety-conscious Gantry Crane Operator to join our main Jebel Ali shipping terminal. Your primary duty will be to sit inside the crane cabin, lift heavy steel containers safely from cargo ships, and place them perfectly onto the waiting transport trucks while strictly following all HSE regulations.

Job Requirements & Benefits:
  • Qualifications: Basic high school education paired with a fully valid UAE Heavy Machinery Operator License.
  • Experience: 2 to 5 years of practical heavy lifting experience inside a busy commercial seaport. Candidates must possess a completely clean local police record.
  • Technical Skills: Deep understanding of heavy load balancing, radio communication protocols, and strict port safety rules. Basic English communication is strictly required to understand ground control instructions safely.
  • Key Responsibilities: Perform daily safety checks on the crane engine, lift dangerous 40-foot containers carefully, communicate with ground truck drivers constantly, and report any mechanical faults to the engineering team immediately.
