With a fleet of over 250 vessels and decades of expertise, Noatum Maritime offers a diverse portfolio of services delivering everything you need on the seas.Job PurposeTo prepare and review financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and organizational policies. The role also supports timely and reliable reporting to stakeholders through comprehensive financial analysis, system integration, and process improvement.Core Responsibilities Maintain and manage the general ledger, including monthly, quarterly, and annual closings. Reconcile bank accounts, intercompany accounts, and balance sheet items. Prepare accurate financial statements: balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow. Post and document journal entries including accruals, prepayments, and adjustments. Support internal and external audits with complete documentation. Analyze financial data to identify trends, issues, and provide insight. Assist with tax filings and regulatory reporting. Collaborate with other finance teams (AP, AR, Treasury) and external stakeholders (e.g. auditors). Support integration of financial systems and propose process improvements.Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree or higher diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in the UAE shipping or logistics sector. Deep knowledge of general accounting, bank reconciliations, financial reporting, and taxation. Excellent command of English; Arabic is a plus. Analytical mindset with attention to detail. Proficiency in accounting software and reporting packages.Key Interactions Internal: Work with department heads across Commercial, Technical, HR, and Operations for budgeting and financial support. External: Liaise with auditors and tax consultants to ensure compliance and support reporting.
