Accountabilities The Go Developer - AI & ML will design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions supporting artificial intelligence and machine learning services. The role requires strong engineering skills, a focus on performance and reliability, and the ability to collaborate in a remote-first environment.

  • Develop and maintain efficient, scalable Go code for machine learning components within a cloud platform.
  • Design and improve AI and ML-related services, ensuring reliability, performance, and maintainability.
  • Apply concurrency patterns such as goroutines and channels to optimize application performance.
  • Build, test, and optimize software solutions using modern engineering practices.
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Improve code quality through refactoring, documentation, optimization, and implementation of best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to support engineering excellence.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across distributed cloud environments.
  • Stay current with Go language developments, libraries, frameworks, and emerging technologies.
  • Contribute to the evolution of AI and machine learning services, including existing platforms and new product initiatives.

Requirements The ideal candidate is a skilled software engineer with experience in Go development, cloud technologies, and machine learning systems. You should be comfortable working with distributed architectures and collaborating within a global remote team.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 4 years of professional software development experience, with strong experience in Go preferred.
  • Proven experience working with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience deploying machine learning solutions in production environments.
  • Experience developing Kubernetes Operators.
  • Strong understanding of API design and development principles, including RESTful APIs.
  • Ability to write clear technical documentation and communicate effectively with engineering teams.
  • Experience working in asynchronous Agile software teams is a plus.
  • Experience building and training machine learning models is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with WebSockets, microservices architectures, and distributed systems is beneficial.
  • 2 years of experience with Python or R is a plus.
  • Experience with web development frameworks such as Gorilla, Gin, or Echo is advantageous.
  • Previous experience working in fully remote organizations is preferred.
