Gender: Any Candidate Nationality: UAE National with family book Job Type: Full-time Role Context The Graduate Environmental Engineer will contribute to environmental studies while completing AECOM 's approximately 24-month ADVANCE graduate development program. The role is structured to help recent graduates move from academic learning into professional consulting by combining supervised project responsibilities with technical development, multidisciplinary exposure, and practical problem solving. Work completed in this position supports environmental decision-making, regulatory studies, sustainable infrastructure planning, and the preparation of accurate project documentation. Key Responsibilities * Support Environmental and Social Impact Assessment studies by assisting with calculations, sketches, diagrams, technical information, and project models. * Help prepare, review, and finalize environmental reports under the guidance of experienced engineers and scientists. * Apply academic environmental knowledge to practical assignments while maintaining accuracy and project quality requirements. * Collect, organize, and analyze environmental and interdisciplinary project data for use in technical studies and reporting. * Use appropriate computer applications to evaluate fundamental environmental and engineering problems. * Coordinate with engineers, scientists, planners, and other specialists to maintain continuity between different components of environmental studies. * Participate in project progress meetings, study reviews, technical coordination sessions, and internal discussions. * Assist with evaluating survey outputs, models, datasets, and study information before they are incorporated into formal reports. * Complete assigned work within established project schedules and budgets under professional supervision. * Contribute to environmental study documentation while following applicable technical procedures and quality requirements. * Investigate project information independently when appropriate and seek guidance when dealing with unfamiliar or atypical assignments. * Apply theoretical knowledge to practical environmental challenges and develop solutions with support from senior team members. * Identify opportunities to improve task efficiency, data organization, and coordination across project activities. * Maintain accurate technical files, working documents, calculations, and project information required for environmental deliverables. * Build practical knowledge across environmental assessment, sustainability, reporting, and interdisciplinary consultancy work throughout the graduate program. Ideal Profile * UAE National holding a valid family book. * Bachelor 's or Master 's degree from an accredited university in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, Marine Engineering, Sustainable Energy and Technology, Geography and Environmental Science, Ecology and Conservation, Architecture and Environmental Design, Sustainable Urban Environments, or a closely aligned discipline. * Recent graduate who completed studies within the previous 24 months and no earlier than September 2024. * Minimum academic GPA of 3.2. * Candidates holding a Master 's degree should have commenced it within 12 months of completing their Bachelor 's degree. * No more than 1 year of postgraduate professional work experience. * Genuine interest in environmental engineering, sustainability, impact assessment, and environmental consulting. * Strong analytical ability with confidence working with technical data and environmental information. * Comfortable using computer software for analysis, calculations, documentation, and technical problem solving. * Detail-oriented approach to reports, data review, and project deliverables. * Willingness to learn from experienced engineers and scientists while gradually taking greater ownership of assigned work. * Able to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary project teams. * Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving capability. * Motivated to build a long-term professional career within environmental and infrastructure consulting.
