We are seeking a qualified and motivated Mechanical Engineer to support our engineering, procurement, fabrication, and government tender operations. The ideal candidate should have sound technical knowledge, be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), and be capable of managing engineering documentation, technical specifications, quality control, and project execution.Key Responsibilities
- Prepare technical proposals and specifications for government and private tenders.
- Design, review, and evaluate mechanical products including handcarts, wheelbarrows, waste containers, steel structures, and fabricated equipment.
- Prepare technical drawings, BOQs, and engineering calculations.
- Assist in preparing bid documents and ensuring compliance with tender requirements.
- Supervise fabrication, manufacturing, and installation activities.
- Coordinate with vendors, manufacturers, and suppliers.
- Conduct inspections and quality assurance of supplied products.
- Ensure compliance with PEC standards and applicable engineering codes.
- Prepare project schedules, progress reports, and technical documentation.
- Support project execution from planning to completion.
- Liaise with government departments, consultants, and clients during project implementation.
- Provide technical support during procurement and contract execution.
- Maintain engineering records and documentation.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BS/BSc Mechanical Engineering).
- Registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) with a valid registration.
- Fresh graduates and experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Experience in government procurement, fabrication, manufacturing, or municipal engineering projects will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of mechanical design principles.
- Ability to prepare technical reports and documentation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Understanding of fabrication and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with PPRA/EPADS procurement procedures is preferred.
