Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Design Intern to support the design team in developing graphics, packaging, product artwork, and visual assets for baby and kids products.

The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in graphic design, branding, packaging, and consumer products, with a good eye for colour, typography, layouts, and trends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the design team in creating product graphics, prints, patterns, and packaging artwork.
  • Develop artwork for products across baby and kids categories such as feeding, bedding, towels, accessories, and nursery products.
  • Assist with packaging design, including belly bands, cuff cards, insert cards, labels, stickers, and other packaging components.
  • Create and update design presentations, mood boards, and trend boards.
  • Support the team in preparing artwork for supplier communication and sampling.
  • Make design amendments based on feedback from the Design, Buying, QC, and Product Development teams.
  • Ensure artwork follows brand guidelines, specifications, and required dimensions.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to clarify artwork requirements and support sample development.
  • Research market trends, colours, graphics, patterns, and competitor products.
  • Organise and maintain design files, artwork, and product assets.
  • Assist with product mock-ups and visual presentations when required.

Required Skills

  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Good understanding of typography, colour, composition, and layout.
  • Strong creative and visual sense.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Ability to understand and follow design briefs.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Interest in fashion, lifestyle, baby products, packaging, and consumer trends is an advantage.

Education

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Communication Design, or a related field.
