Graphic Design & Social Media Marketing Associate (UAE National Only)

Purpose of Job

Based at our office in Dubai, the Marketing Associate role will support the Kuwait Marketing team with basic graphic design & social media functions. You will be supporting with creative asset development in support of Deliveroo social media & in-app channels, including creating weekly social media stories, caption and copy writing, managing posting calendars and replying to social media comments. The role will report to the Senior Marketing Manager in Kuwait. We are currently operating on a hybrid model where you will be required to come into the office (DIFC) three times a week

 

Main Responsibilities:

Graphic Design/Content Creation: Create weekly social media story posts in support of weekly campaigns.Copywriting and Caption Development: Write compelling captions and copy for social media posts to effectively communicate brand messages and engage our audiences.Support with Social Media Management: Oversee posting calendars to ensure timely and consistent content delivery.

  • Social Media Agency Coordination: Communicate with Deliveroo’s social media agency to follow up on deliveries and track project progress
  • Community Engagement: Actively monitor and respond to comments and interactions across social media channels, escalating matters to the Customer Care team where needed, to foster community engagement and maintain a positive brand presence.

Requirements:

  • This role is open only to UAE Nationals
  • UAE passport & Family book (Khulasat Al Qaid)
  • High affinity for the food sector, an understanding of customer segmentation, and insight into current food trends
  • Basic graphic design skills and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc) -  familiarity with Figma is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of typography, and layout principles.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability to feedback.
  • Highly driven and motivated individual with great organization skills
  • Fluent written and spoken English and Arabic
  • Experience using Google Suite or Microsoft Office
  • Bachelor’s Degree
