<p>The Health, Safety and Environment Coordinator position at a Dubai-based company involves conducting risk assessments, ensuring compliance with regulations, developing safety policies, and leading training initiatives. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, at least 3 years of experience in health and safety management, preferably in hospitality, and knowledge of local regulations. The position is full-time and requires strong analytical and communication skills.<br>Role Responsibilities<br>Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend control measures.<br>Ensure compliance with local and international health, safety, and environmental regulations.<br>Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures.<br>Conduct safety training for employees and contractors to promote a safety-first culture.<br>Lead incident investigations and prepare reports to determine root causes and preventive measures.<br>Monitor workplace conditions and ensure the enforcement of safety protocols.<br>Review and analyze safety performance metrics and prepare regular reports for management.<br>Coordinate emergency response drills and procedures to ensure preparedness.<br>Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies during inspections and audits.<br>Maintain records of training, incidents, and inspections in compliance with legal requirements.<br>Promote environmentally sustainable practices within the organization.<br>Advise management on safety improvements and best practices.<br>Provide support and guidance to project teams regarding health, safety, and environmental matters.<br>Assist in developing safety materials and communication strategies.<br>Stay updated on industry trends, developments, and regulatory changes.<br>Qualifications<br>Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.<br>Minimum of 3 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental management and should be from Hospitality background<br>Knowledge of relevant local and international regulations and standards.<br>Certification in health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is preferred.<br>Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.<br>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.<br>UAE experience is must.<br>Proficiency in MS Office Suite and safety management software.<br>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.<br>Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence others.<br>Experience in training and mentoring employees.<br>Knowledge of incident investigation techniques and root cause analysis.<br>Demonstrate commitment to safety and environmental responsibilities.<br>Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound judgments.<br>Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.<br>Willingness to travel as required.<br>Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.</p>
