We are seeking a reliable and skilled Forklift cum Warehouse Executive to join our automotive spare parts warehouse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to load/unload goods, managing inventory, maintaining records, and ensuring the smooth and safe handling of goods. The role requires a hands-on individual with experience in warehouse operations, particularly in the auto spare parts sector.

Key Result Areas (KRAs):

  • Timely and accurate loading/unloading of materials
  • Efficient storage and retrieval of goods
  • Safe and proper operation of forklift and other material handling equipment
  • Inventory control and record keeping
  • Warehouse cleanliness and organization
  • Compliance with safety procedures

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Number of loads moved per day
  • Accuracy in inventory handling
  • Downtime due to equipment failure or procedural errors
  • Number of safety incidents (target: zero)
  • Audit and stock variance scores
  • Timeliness of documentation and reporting

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Heavy Vehicle License No 3)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload materials from various vehicles using a forklift
  • Move pallet-packed materials to designated storage locations
  • Check the security and stability of loads before transport
  • Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on forklift and related equipment
  • Follow written instructions for order picking, packing, and dispatching
  • Maintain accurate records of stock movement and equipment usage
  • Follow all warehouse safety protocols and procedures
  • Assist with physical inventory counts and audits
  • Complete physical tasks efficiently and accurately
  • Support overall warehouse operations and cleanliness
