Are you an experienced Maintenance Test Pilot (MTP) with extensive AS550 flight experience? This is an exciting opportunity to join a premier military aviation maintenance organization supporting mission-critical rotary-wing operations in the United Arab Emirates.

We are seeking a highly qualified pilot with proven maintenance test flight experience to ensure aircraft are safe, mission-ready, and operating at peak performance following maintenance activities.

Position Summary The Maintenance Test Pilot (AS550) is responsible for conducting functional check flights, maintenance test flights, and operational evaluations following scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance. This role works closely with maintenance teams to identify, troubleshoot, and verify corrective actions while ensuring aircraft meet all airworthiness and mission readiness standards.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of aviation maintenance experience
  • Minimum 1,000 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) flight hours
  • Minimum 200 Maintenance Test Pilot (MTP) flight hours on the AS550
  • Valid Commercial or Military Pilot License with Maintenance/Test Pilot Rating
  • Current FAA or Military Flight Medical Certificate (or equivalent)
  • Military rotary-wing aviation experience required
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, flight testing procedures, and maintenance operations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting military aviation maintenance organizations
  • Instructor Pilot or Standardization Pilot experience
  • Operational experience in demanding or deployed environments
  • Strong understanding of maintenance documentation and technical publications
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct maintenance test flights following scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
  • Perform functional check flights to verify aircraft airworthiness
  • Evaluate aircraft performance, handling characteristics, and system functionality
  • Identify discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions with maintenance personnel
  • Debrief maintenance teams regarding aircraft performance and required repairs
  • Ensure compliance with all flight safety regulations, maintenance procedures, and quality standards
  • Maintain accurate flight logs, maintenance documentation, and inspection records
  • Support aircraft acceptance, return-to-service inspections, and operational readiness activities
Compensation & Benefits

Salary

  • AED 65,000 per month
  • Approximately USD $17,695 per month (Tax-Free)
