Gender: Any Candidate Nationality: Any Job Type: Full-time Role Context The Housing Officer - Employee Accommodation will support the delivery of employee housing services across Aldar Education's school network in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on managing housing requests, unit allocations, tenancy support, employee move-ins and move-outs, void property control, property manager coordination, records management, and housing-related reporting. By providing responsive support and maintaining accurate housing processes, the position helps employees settle smoothly, supports operational efficiency, and contributes to a professional accommodation service. Key Responsibilities * Support the Housing Management Team in delivering high-quality, affordable, and well-managed employee housing services. * Manage housing-related employee enquiries, requests, complaints, and accommodation matters in a professional and caring manner. * Coordinate the end-to-end housing process, including employee move-in, move-out, unit handover, inspections, documentation, and follow-up. * Serve as a primary contact for Aldar Education employees regarding housing policies, procedures, entitlements, and accommodation support. * Liaise with People and Culture, Finance, Operations, property management companies, utility providers, and other stakeholders to resolve housing matters. * Maintain accurate records of employee housing requests, unit assignments, case updates, approvals, documentation, and service actions. * Keep updated knowledge of housing management legislation, guidance, internal policies, and recognized good practice. * Carry out all duties in line with company policies, housing procedures, service standards, and confidentiality expectations. * Support a positive Health and Safety culture and ensure housing-related duties are performed with proper regard for safety responsibilities. * Work flexibly as part of a team to ensure employees and external colleagues receive consistent and seamless support. * Support internal communication and working relationships through meetings, updates, reports, and coordination with relevant departments. * Provide performance information, housing updates, and operational reports when required. * Identify service improvement opportunities and contribute to continuous improvement within housing operations. * Manage and control void properties to reduce vacancy periods and meet performance targets. * Allocate properties according to organizational policies, employee eligibility, and accommodation availability. * Process housing applications for new joiners, internal transfers, and employees requiring accommodation changes. * Follow up on required clearances and submit necessary documentation within agreed timelines. * Provide practical advice and support to employees regarding housing options, procedures, and next steps. * Liaise with property management offices to ensure staff receive timely support and service responses. * Issue Notices of Proceedings where required and in line with approved procedures. * Ensure staff follow policies and procedures when preparing or processing housing documentation. * Handle sensitive cases professionally, discreetly, and with appropriate escalation when required. * Support tenant and community engagement activities where relevant to housing service delivery. * Coordinate with property management companies to ensure effective repairs, maintenance, and tenant support. * Participate in wider housing activities, including repair follow-up and monitoring provider performance against agreed standards. * Assist the Housing Operations Manager in reviewing housing policies, procedures, and service improvement strategies. * Contribute to the development of new policies and processes that improve tenant service and housing operations. * Support compliance with UAE laws, local authority requirements, housing standards, and internal governance expectations. * Remain flexible for occasional evening or urgent operational support when required. Ideal Profile * Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, Facilities Management, Hospitality, or a related field. * Minimum 2-3 years of experience in housing, accommodation, facilities, employee services administration, or customer service operations. * Experience in employee accommodation, housing operations, or administration within the education sector or a large multi-site organization is preferred. * Strong understanding of housing procedures, accommodation services, tenant support, and property coordination. * Proven ability to deliver high-quality, customer-focused service and manage employee or tenant queries effectively. * Experience following policies, procedures, service standards, and performance requirements. * Ability to build positive working relationships with employees, property managers, vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders. * Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. * Good organizational and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure. * Able to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team. * Strong problem-solving, mediation, and conflict resolution skills for sensitive or challenging housing matters. * Good IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office and housing or property management systems. * Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills for reports, presentations, tracking, and data management. * Awareness of equality, diversity, inclusion, confidentiality, and professional conduct. * Ability to identify issues early and escalate matters appropriately when required. * Flexible approach to work, including occasional urgent support when operationally necessary. * Valid driving licence and own transport are preferred.
