HR ASSISTANT (EMPLOYEE HEALTH INSURANCE COORDINATOR)

Job Summary The HR Coordinator will be responsible for managing employee medical insurance operations, ensuring timely enrollment, renewals, claims coordination, and compliance with UAE health insurance requirements. The role will also provide general HR administrative support, including employee records management, documentation, onboarding assistance, and coordination of HR processes.

The ideal candidate should have experience in UAE medical insurance administration, knowledge of Abu Dhabi healthcare requirements, including ADHICS awareness, and strong HR administrative skills.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Medical Insurance Management

  • Coordinate employee medical insurance enrollment, cancellation, renewal, and policy amendments.
  • Process insurance applications for new employees, dependents, transfers, and visa-related changes.
  • Maintain accurate employee insurance records and databases.
  • Monitor insurance policy validity, renewal dates, and employee coverage status.
  • Coordinate with insurance providers, brokers, and internal departments to ensure smooth insurance operations.
  • Maintain insurance trackers and prepare reports related to employee medical coverage.
Insurance Claims & Employee Support
  • Assist employees with medical insurance inquiries, coverage clarification, approvals, and claim-related concerns.
  • Coordinate with insurance companies, brokers, and healthcare providers to resolve pending cases.
  • Support employees with required documents for insurance claims, reimbursements, and approvals.
  • Track and follow up on pending insurance requests until completion.
Abu Dhabi Healthcare Compliance (ADHICS)
  • Maintain awareness and understanding of ADHICS requirements related to healthcare information security and data protection.
  • Ensure proper handling, confidentiality, and secure management of employee medical insurance information.
  • Support documentation requirements related to healthcare data privacy and compliance.
  • Follow company procedures for protecting sensitive employee and medical records.
HR Administration Support
  • Maintain and update employee files, HR records, and databases.
  • Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including document collection and coordination.
  • Support visa, labour card, and employee documentation tracking.
  • Prepare HR letters, reports, forms, and employee-related documents when required.
  • Assist in maintaining attendance records, leave records, and employee information updates.
  • Support HR audits by ensuring accurate documentation and record keeping.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR department.
Coordination & Vendor Management
  • Liaise with insurance providers, brokers, government-related entities, and external service providers.
  • Coordinate with Finance regarding insurance invoices, payments, and employee-related deductions.
  • Communicate professionally with employees and stakeholders to provide timely assistance.
  • Maintain proper documentation of all insurance and HR-related correspondence.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of UAE experience in HR administration, employee benefits, or insurance coordination.
  • Experience handling UAE medical insurance processes is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Abu Dhabi healthcare insurance requirements and ADHICS awareness is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with UAE HR practices, employee documentation, and HR processes.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
