HSE Officer - DM Approved

We are seeking a qualified and experienced

HSE Officer with valid

Dubai Municipality (DM) Approval to join our project team in Dubai. The candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, client standards, and project HSE procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and monitor project HSE plans, policies, and procedures.

  • Conduct daily site inspections and identify unsafe acts and conditions.

  • Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations and project HSE requirements.

  • Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness programs.

  • Monitor work permits, risk assessments, and method statements.

  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare reports.

  • Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to safety standards.

  • Coordinate emergency preparedness drills and site safety campaigns.

  • Maintain HSE records, reports, and documentation.

  • Liaise with client representatives, consultants, and regulatory authorities on HSE matters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.

  • Minimum

    8 years of HSE experience in UAE infrastructure projects.

  • Valid Dubai Municipality (DM) Approved HSE Officer certification is mandatory.

  • NEBOSH IGC certification required.

  • Knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and international safety standards.

  • Strong communication, reporting, and incident investigation skills.

  • Experience in building and/or infrastructure projects preferred
